About TruBen Cultural Centre for Nandi Arts, Language & Societal Development
The TruBen Cultural Center for Nandi Arts, Language, and Societal Development, is a proposed private museum in Kamatargui village which is in Kapsabet in Nandi County. It will be established in honor of Benjamin and Truphosa Mugun, spearheaded by the Kabara clan, who are associated with the Elephant Totem (Kipkoiting') and will embody the traditions and values of the great Nandi Community
The TruBen Cultural Center will be a dynamic and immersive heritage site, created to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural traditions of the Nandi community. It will serve as a hub for cultural exploration, learning, and community engagement.
Our Objectives
The objectives for the TruBen Cultural Center encompass the preservation of culture, the revival of traditional practices, the rebuilding of cultural identity, and the creation of a welcoming and nurturing environment for the community.
